12th June 2011
Windsurfing: The Dip-Felixstowe
Wind Direction: sse
Wind Stength: 15/20
Surf / Sea State: lumpy :(
Air Temperature: 15
Sea Temperature: 13
Weather: cloudy,wet and cold :(
Max Speed: 25.24 (knots - unless stated otherwise)

Breakfast at The Dip with Mag weather more like March than June :( cold, cloudy with rain !!! Mag walks home,Steve Carter arrives and we rig 7+ and are out at about midday.I try for an hour but the sea was lumpy and the wind abit light :( but it was fun sailing through the Deben rivermouth which was big !!!! Slow times but under and fighting the tide to stay upwind, thought when thee tide turned it would improve, sadly the reverse happened even if the wind increased the sea was awful with chop hitting you from all angles and when it started to rain enough was enough !!! and it was cold too. There were 20 kiters out at once in the rivermouth !!! and only a hand full of windsurfers - looks like we are a dying breed :( but then kiting is abit more exciting I supppose !!!! It would be nice to have a flat water or wave spot near as your poor old body gets abit of a hammering in this North Sea chop :(
